Dr. Matt Teigen, DC
Dr. Matt Teigen, a 14-year Air Force veteran, was born and raised in Alaska. Here, he became an avid outdoorsman and athlete, as well as deployed five times supporting the 212 Pararescue Team. These professional and recreational experiences have shown him the significance of maintaining a healthy body when it comes to both work and play.

During chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Dr. Matt spent countless hours in seminars and researching the effects of dysfunctional fascial on chronic and acute pain. Some of the specialties learned included: ELDOA, Soma Therapy: Joint Pumping, Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), and Stecco’s Fascial Manipulation (FM).

Dr. Matt had the opportunity during school to treat Veterans at the VA for a six-month rotation. Here he applied everything he learned in school, as well as the fascial skills learned in his research and seminars.

In his down time, Dr. Matt enjoys traveling to new places with his family, as well as staying active in the gym and outdoors. He also remains passionate and continues to learn more about fascia and it’s relation to pain.
Mobility and movement is important to get right as a professional athlete but many sports require different movements that may be blocked by fascial distortions.
